Tyger Manufacturing and Glunt Settle Patent Dispute, Glunt to License Tyger Patents

Tyger Manufacturing LLC (“Tyger”) and Gregory Meade d/b/a Glunt (“Glunt”) announced today that they have resolved the patent infringement lawsuit between the two parties, with Glunt agreeing to license the two patents at issue for smoking devices.

Gregory Meade said, “We are very glad to settle this lawsuit amicably with Tyger Manufacturing. The license agreement will allow Glunt to incorporate some of Tyger’s patented inventions to its product line, and also builds a productive relationship with Tyger.” “Tyger Manufacturing is pleased to resolve this conflict with Glunt,” said Jeffrey Han, CEO of Tyger Manufacturing. “We have a growing patent portfolio, and are committed to protecting our innovations and intellectual property rights. Glunt has demonstrated its respect for the intellectual property rights of others by licensing Tyger Manufacturing's intellectual property.”

 

The case, Tyger Manufacturing LLC v. Gregory Meade d/b/a Glunt, Case No. l:18-cv-22846-KMW, had been pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Miami Division.
