7Pipe Young Musician Program welcomes Rita Payes Roma

Check out Rita Payes Roma on her Youtube account.  A student of Joan Chamorro out of Barcelona, Rita has proven her chops on the jazz trombone, but her real talent is her versatile jazz voice.  Watch on Youtube as she sings classics from the jazz lexicon as well as from the bossa nova tradition.  

Rita comes from a musical family, so it's no surprise that you see Rita and her mom on nylon string guitar together on their album Imagina.  Her mom's amazing guitar playing complement the sensitive voice and trombone of Payés.
