" Your product impressed me and excited me in ways I can't convey." Andrew McCracken, 7Pipe customer
GLASS INSIDE THE PIPE?
The reactions we get from people seeing it for the first time are incredible. More than one blogger said it couldn't be done. Being the stubborn people we are, we said F#$%^ it, let's find a way to do it.
Fitting such a small glass bowl into our lighter pipe was a huge challenge for us. Going into the project, none of us were sure that it could be done either. We were going in blind, because it had never been done before.
"No longer do you have to sacrifice flavor for portability."
High Times Product Review, Feb 2010
We approached many glassblowers. The miniaturization caused huge problems. Using purely handblown methods, the resulting bowls were not precise enough; most of them didn't fit into the 7Pipe properly. The tolerances of our glass bowls were less than a millimeter for most measurements.
I have been using mine during travel
and it is excellent for that purpose, and it's actually glass, I love it.

We were forced to approach some mould makers. The moulds would allow our glassblowers to make more precise finished products. Our final set of moulds was so specialized that only one glass workshop out of the many we approached had skilled enough glassblowers to use the moulds properly.
Overall you have a wonderful product that has the potential to revolutionize the compact smoking system, and with a borosilicate
glass insert, the collectors will accept it.

The next step was to find a lighter factory that made lighters that wouldn't break in two weeks. We were sick and tired of crappy lighters, and we knew our customers would be too. Finally, we found a factory that could meet our specifications. It turns out that they also made lighters for some famous brands that you probably know.
The future is here. Finally someone figured out that we keep losing our lighters and needed a simple solution. Well the solution is to have the lighter built directly inside the pipe, makes sense doesn't it.

Just to make sure that we were making the highest quality lighter pipe in the world, We came up with some crazy quality tests. One test included keeping the 7Pipe Pro lit for 10 minutes straight. ISO standard is only 2 minutes, but we wanted to take it to the next level. You can check out the Youtube video here.

| The year was 2008. We wondered why people were still smoking out of nasty metal pipes. Ok, so they had a built-in lighter, but they were still metal. We decided to change all that. Welcome to 7Pipe Pro. |
